In a surprisingly short acting career that lasted just three years (1932 - 1935), leading man Reb Russel acted in eleven movies, all of which were low-budget Hollywood westerns. With Border Vengeance, which was adapted for the screen by Forbes Parkhill from R. Craig Christensen’s novel "The Return of the Muley Kid", Russell bid Hollywood goodbye and never faced the camera again.
